Gala To Support Bluff City Theater

Come be part of our biggest fundraising event of the year!The BCT All in the Family Gala-Friday April 28th. Dinner, cabaret show, live and silent auctions. Chef Jeremy presents a family picnic with a gourmet twist. Capon-stuffed roast suckling pig, summer sweet-potato salad and much, much more! Plus, a fun-filled musical cabaret starring Mardra Thomas, Hassie Davis, Janine Norman, Patrick Hedges, Clark Cruikshank and Music Director Colin Healy. Cocktails at 6 p.m., dinner stations open at 6:30 and show at 7:30 p.m. Tickets $60 each, $110 per couple or fill a table of 8 for $400. or call 573-719-3226.

This family friendy event will have coloring for the kids, cookies and some of the best holiday music of the season, featuring the NIU Jazz Faculty, Jazztet, Jazz Orchestra and speciel guests. $10 general admission, $5 for seniors and students BUT for every non-perishable food item, receive a $2.50 discount! St. Louis’s own contemporary funk and soul jazz group, Good 4 the Soul, with the help of special guest keyboardist Reggie Thomas, will pay tribute to the Founding Fathers of R&B/Soul/Funk/Jazz fusion that rose to prominence in the 1970s. Keyboardists Joe Sample of The Crusaders and George Duke made lasting impressions on the history of jazz and popular music throughout their career. Join Good 4 the Soul and Reggie Thomas as they celebrate those sounds at Jazz at the Bistro with the help of saxophonist Jason Swagler and vocalist Anita Jackson!
